During pregnancy: pimples, blemished skin and pregnancy acne

Pregnant women are surrounded by a very special glow. For some, this also applies to their skin: it is smooth and rosy and seems to glow from within. This is because the hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) stimulates the production of two other hormones - viz. Estrogen and Progesterone – triggers. The result: the skin retains more water, small wrinkles are smoothed. Due to increased microcirculation, the complexion looks fresh and even.

Other pregnant women, however, complain of blemished skin that tends to acne. Prevent stretch marks
